From the adventurous strolls through the town of Varadero, to the views from underwater snorkelling in the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea, mother nature has proved to be a beautiful sight. While exploring mother nature in Cuba, our comfy outfits played an essential part of our trip. We always focus to stay chic yet comfortable while travelling. I am wearing a deep v neck light grey body suit with denim shorts and a breezy white jersey over top. I opted for this cover up on my arms due to the extremely strong sun. A comfy pair of adidas superstars kept me comfortable while walking around and completed my travel outfit.

Ray Ray chose this Zara one piece body suit in a bold red with a simple pair of denim shorts and strappy sandals. Another comfy and chic outfit choice. For us, I think it’s safe to say while travelling, we should always aim for a comfortable approach to our outfits. We love to explore and adventure, so stilettos and dresses would not be a wise choice for us to pack on adventurous trips like these.

We adored visiting the markets all over Varadero. It was a short 10 minute bus ride from our resort to the tourist area, where the markets were located. They had many creative things to look at and purchase. While out in the town, it is highly recommended to try the food. We did not get a chance to do this but we heard that the fish in town is phenomenal.

A rather long 3 hour bus ride on the second last day brought us to the crocodile swamps. This is where we saw plenty of crocodiles hiding in the wet and muddy parts of the swamp. This man was even feeding cow pieces to a couple, and I’ve never seen anything like it before. They were also snapping and hissing at each other which was a scary thing to see! Seeing how they lounged around in the mud didn’t compare to how fast they moved when they saw food or a person in their territory. It was amazing to see how they lived there.

Getting off the resort to explore other parts of Cuba was a nice change of sight. I recommend booking a few excursions if you ever get the chance to travel to Cuba. There are different types of excursions, something for everyone, but maybe step out of your comfort zone and try something new! Although relaxing by the beach and pool all day is what I went for, trying out a little adventure was something I will never forget.
